Terms of Service
Know your rights shopping online or in-store with us by going to the ACCC’s website. WOOD DUST Australia and the Wood Play Studio are wholly owned entities of Australian company Craft Media Australia Pty Ltd (CMA) ABN 85 622 316 214 will at a minimum always conform to all applicable Australian laws. However, we will strive to provide you with service that exceeds your expectations and are left satisfied with your experience.
Payments
The CMA, Wood Dust website processes all credit payments using the Stripe or PayPal gateway processing systems. This means that your account is debited at the time of placing the order for the full order value as seen in the checkout.
If a refund needs to be performed by CMA, Wood Dust for an online order, this will either be processed directly through Stripe or PayPal’s online portal or we will perform a direct deposit to your nominated bank account. At no time does CMA, Wood Dust receive the full credit card details for your online purchases.
Pricing
All online prices are correct at the time of purchasing.
Government Taxes
All prices on this website include the 10% Australian Goods and Services tax.
Privacy
In order to purchase your ticket to any CMA event, CMA may need to collect and keep personal information about you including your name, address, credit card or payment details, telephone number and the names of all ticket allocations. CMA may also need to disclose your personal information as required by law or as permitted under the Privacy Act.
Zero Tolerance of Aggression and Threats
CMA and WOOD DUST work to provide and safe and respectful place of work for our collaborators and studio for our customers. Any behaviour verbal or physical, which causes staff or customers to feel uncomfortable, embarrassed or threatened, is totally unacceptable. The Zero Tolerance policy includes aggression or threats made in person, over the telephone, online or in written communication.
TERMS & CONDITIONS WOOD DUST BACKSTREETS
WOOD DUST backstreets events include Woodworking Workshops, Welcome Dinner and the Yarn.
Refunds for WOOD DUST backstreets Events
If participants cannot attend a WOOD DUST Woodworking Workshop they may receive a full refund if requested no less than 30 days before the workshop start date. Less than 30 days from the course start date, 50% will be refunded. Less than 14 days no refund offered.
Participants may transfer or sell their ticket to any WOOD DUST Woodworking Workshop event to a third party with written permission from the WOOD DUST organisers.
No refunds on any ticket to any WOOD DUST backstreets will be given under any circumstances including related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. If a participant cannot attend any WOOD DUST Woodworking Workshop event due to COVID-19 they may sell or transfer their ticket to a third party with the written permission from the organisers.
No refunds on any ticket to any WOOD DUST backstreets will be given under any circumstances including related to inclement weather events. This is an all-weather event. No refunds will be made if you choose not to attend due to inclement weather.
If a refund needs to be performed by CMA for an online order, this will either be processed directly through Stripe or PayPal’s online portal or we will perform a direct deposit to your nominated bank account. At no time does CMA receive the full credit card details for your online purchases.
If you bought a WOOD DUST backstreets ticket that is now on sale at a cheaper price, CMA will issue you a voucher for the difference in price if the original purchase was within 48 hours of the sale price being advertised. It is the customers responsibility to contact CMA to claim the voucher.
WOOD DUST backstreets Event Cancellations
If any WOOD DUST backstreets event needs to be cancelled due to any reason, the WOOD DUST organisers will notify you and issue you with a full refund or arrange a transfer to an alternative event.
WOOD DUST backstreets General Conditions
Participants in the WOOD DUST backstreets series of Woodworking Workshops must be 18 years and well enough to stand for several hours at a time lifting 2kg with each arm. Access to Level 1 and 2 of the Coburg Studios is by stairs only.
It may be a condition of entry to any WOOD DUST backstreets event that a search of your person and/or your possessions is required at the time of entry to the venue. GLASS, ALCOHOL, WEAPONS, ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES or any item the WOOD DUST organisers consider may be used in an illegal or offensive manner may be confiscated. Refusal to consent to a search WILL prevent entry to the event without refund.
Entry and participation to any WOOD DUST backstreets event is at one’s own risk and the right to refuse entry is reserved. WOOD DUST organisers shall not be held liable for any loss, injury or damages sustained entering on the site – to the extent allowed by the law.
TERMS & CONDITIONS WOOD PLAY STUDIO
Refunds for Wood Play Workshops
If participants cannot attend a Wood Play workshop, they may receive a full refund if requested no less than 14 days before the workshop start date. Less than 14 days from the course start date, 50% will be refunded or the course may be rescheduled. Less than 7 days no refund offered, or the course may be rescheduled.
If you bought a Wood Play workshop ticket that is now on sale at a cheaper price, CMA will issue you a voucher for the difference in price if the original purchase was within 48 hours of the sale price being advertised. It is the customers responsibility to contact CMA to claim the voucher.
Wood Play Workshop Cancellations
If a course needs to be cancelled due to insufficient enrolments, we will notify you and issue you with a full refund or arrange a transfer to an alternative workshop.
