About the Welcome Dinner
 
The best way to get to know someone is to sit down and share a meal. And at the WOOD DUST backstreets Welcome Dinner you can do exactly that with all our special guests including Christopher Schwarz, Michael Fortune and Matt Kenney.
 
Here’s the deal. The Welcome Dinner is being held at the Post Office Hotel located on Sydney Road in Coburg. Booked is the main dining room which features a very cool warehouse styled dining area, a well-stocked bar and private garden. When you arrive at 6.00pm you will be greeted with a complementarity drink and roving canapes, further drinks may be purchased from the bar.
 
For the next hour and a half, you will have plenty of time to chat, mingle and meet all our guests face to face. At 7.30 we all sit down for the main meal where you can choose from a series of proteins and sides, special dietary needs are catered for. Once the meal is done and the plates have been cleared, Christopher and co will be up for some speeches, maybe telling us a story or two.
 
After the talks, and as with any great celebration, we will cut the WOOD DUST backstreets dessert cake, hand out some prizes and then kick on till 10.00pm. This is an evening you don’t want to miss.
 
Getting to the Post Office Hotel
 
The Post Office Hotel is at 229-231 Sydney Rd, Coburg. On the corner of Sydney Road and Reynard Street. There is generally plenty of parking along Sydney Road or in the surrounding streets. If you are catching public transport, catch the train along the Upfield Line getting off at either Moreland or Coburg Station.  You can walk from either of these stations, alternatively catch the Number 19 Tram along Sydney Road.
